Gettysburg College Athletics

Van Tuyl won the heptathlon by 361 points at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Swarthmore College. She won three of the seven events, capturing the 100-meter hurdles, the high jump, and the 200-meter dash, and finished with a score of 3,840 points. She earned the most points in the high jump, soaring 5-1 3/4. Van Tuyl also competed in three open events and one relay, tying for fourth in the high jump and placing seventh the 100 hurdles.
