Gettysburg locked down third-ranked Swarthmore's high-powered offense in a 1-1 tie on Saturday. Backs Peter Lynch, Thomas Siekmann, Andrew LaFontaine, Dan McNamara, and goalkeeper Connor Darrell played all 110 minutes and helped limit the Garnet to just 14 shots, nearly nine below their season average. McNamara also scored the match's first goal in the 65th minute, while Darrell made five saves in his second collegiate start.
