A recent Gettysburg graduate, Dean Staley enters his first season as an assistant football coach for the Bullets in 2011.
Staley spent the last two years at Frostburg State University, where he worked as a graduate assistant for the fitness/strength & conditioning program and earned his master of business administration. He was also a strength and conditioning intern at Florida Atlantic University during the summer of 2010.
Staley was a four-year member and a three-year letterwinner for the Bullet football team. He was a starting linebacker during his senior year in 2008 and finished second on the team with 73 tackles. In 2007, he helped the Bullets finish 6-5 and earn a berth in the ECAC Southwest Bowl. Staley also competed for Gettysburg’s wrestling team for two years.
