COLLEGEVILLE, PA. --- Amy Brewster scored a pair of goals as Gettysburg defeated Ursinus 4-1 in Centennial conference action on Saturday. With the win the Bullet's record improves to 8-6-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play.
Brewster opened up the game's scoring, putting both her goals in the net within a minute of each other. She buried the first goal in the sixth minute of the match off an assist from Whitney Jackson, and scored again in the seventh minute off an assist by Jill Piekarski.
Ursinus retaliated at the 21:48 mark, but the Bullets would put the Bears to sleep for good in the second half with scores from Rachael Rzemieniewski and Lauren Scott. Rzemieniewski was assisted by Patsy Cors and Scott saw an assist from Jackson.
Gettysburg returns to action on Wednesday, October 20 when they play Haverford at home. Game time is 4 p.m.
