HAVERFORD, PA. --- Jason Vishio scored a goal and added three assists to lead Gettysburg past Haverford, 4-2, in Centennial Conference action on Saturday.  With the win, the Bullets improve to 7-1-2 overall and 3-0-1 in conference play.

     Jeremy Shapiro scored in the first and last minutes of the first half, including the gamewinner, to help Gettysburg run its unbeaten streak to eight games.  Chris Pryor also scored his team-best eighth goal of the season in the win.  Nick LaPorta made four saves to earn the victory.

     Shapiro opened the scoring off an assist from Vishio in the game's first minute.  Haverford's Jordan Brown tied the score at 1-1 in the 20th minute, the first goal Gettysburg had allowed in four games.

     Vishio broke the tie with 5:05 left before halftime and Shapiro found the net with one second on the clock before the break to give the Bullets a 3-1 edge.

     Richard Billings beat four Gettysburg defenders and scored to pull the Fords (5-5, 1-3) within 3-2 in the 66th minute, but Vishio recorded his third assist on a goal from Pryor at 78:00 that iced the win.

     Gettysburg outshot the Fords, 16-10, on the afternoon and held a 7-4 edge in corner kicks.

     The Bullets return to action on Wednesday, October 6 at York College.  Game time is 4 p.m.
