SWARTHMORE, PA. --- Emily McAuliffe scored as pair of goals and Amy Brewster scored a pair of assists as the Bullets blanked Swarthmore 6-0 in Centennial Conference action on Saturday. The win, which is Gettysburg's fifth shutout in six matches, improves the Bullet record to 10-6-1 overall, and 8-0 in conference play.
Gettysburg assault on the Garnet net started only 2:03 into the match, when Patsy Cors put the game winner in the nylon off of Brewster's first assist of the day. Brewster collected her second assist when she set up a score by Maureen McBrien.
McAuliffe picked up her near hat-trick by scoring the next two Bullet goals, one of which was assisted by Abi Reaser. Reaser returned poke home the fifth goal of the day. Gettysburg ended their scoring off a goal by Lauren Scott, assisted by Maureen O'Donnell.
Gettysburg, currently ranked 10th in the Mid-Atlantic region, returns to action on Thursday, October 28 when they host Centennial Conference opponent, Bryn Mawr College. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
