GETTYSBURG, PA--- Jason Vishio scored his fifteenth assist on the season to tie the Gettysburg record and help lead the Bullets past Ursinus 3-0 in Centennial Conference action on Saturday. With the win the Bullets' record improves to 12-1-2 overall, and 5-0-1 in conference action.
Gettysburg saw three different goal scorers in their blanking of the Bears, starting with a score by Jeremy Shapiro at the four-minute mark. After Shapiro put his point in off an assist by Adam Outerbridge, Bullet all-time scoring leader Chris Pryor sank one in off an assist by Jesse Flynn. Gettysburg ended the first half with a two goal lead, but Flynn returned in the second half to ice the win with a goal of his own, off the record tying assist by Vishio.
The Bullets out shot the Bears 14-9 on the day and saw a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.
Gettysburg returns to action on Wednesday, October 27 at home against Johns Hopkins. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
