CARLISLE, PA. --- Amy Brewster and Patsy Cors both scored goals late in Wednesday's match to give Gettysburg a 2-0 win over Centennial Conference opponent Dickinson. With the victory, the Bullets improved to 5-6-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
After 77:30 of scoreless play and 19 shots, Gettysburg broke the 0-0 deadlock when Brewster put in her third goal of the season off a direct kick. With only 2:20 remaining in the match, Cors slipped in the insurance shot off an assist by Maureen Minahan, keeping Gettysburg undefeated in Centennial action.
The Bullets outshot the Red Devils, 22-1, on the day and held the edge in corner kicks, 8-2.
Gettysburg returns to action on Friday, October 8 at home against Moravian College. Game time is 4 p.m.
