GETTYSBURG, PA. --- Carrie Kulp led the Bullet offense with 13 points as Gettysburg defeated Haverford 73-43 in Centennial Conference action on Tuesday. With the win, the Bullets improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
Also scoring in the double figures for Gettysburg was Steph Drevna, who finished the night with 10 points, while Kelsey Williams came close to the feat with nine points.
Leading the Gettysburg defense were Megan McDonald and Mandy Wilson, who both posted four steals on the night as the Bullets forced 38 turnovers from the Haverford squad. Kulp and Jay Hodge each collected three steals while five other Gettysburg hoopsters posted steals as well.
Gettysburg led 39-20 at halftime, and maintained dominance in the second half, shooting 66.7 percent from three-point range and 71.4 percent from the foul line.
The Bullets take to the court again on Tuesday, November 30 when they host Villa Julie. Game time is at 7:00 p.m.
