BALTIMORE, MD. --- Marjahna Segers scored a team-high 18 points and pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds to lead Johns Hopkins over Gettysburg 74-62 in Centennial Conference action on Wednesday.
The loss was the first for the Bullets (7-1, 3-1) this season following a program-record 7-0 start.
Steph Drevna led the Bullet effort with a game-high and a career-high 23 points while Jamie Dawson added 11 points to the loss. Mandy Wilson led the squad with eight rebounds and added eight points while Dawson pulled down six boards.
The Bullets, who were within one point with 3:24 left in the first half, fell ten points behind Hopkins as the Blue Jays made a 13-2 run to end the first half. Gettysburg would push within eight points of Hopkins twice in the second half, but would pull no closer.
Gettysburg returns to action on Saturday, December 11 at home against Goucher College. Game time is 1 p.m.
