ALLENTOWN, PA --- Lauren Frankford scored the gamewinning goal in the fifth minute of overtime to lift Gettysburg over Muhlenberg, 2-1, in Centennial Conference action on Wednesday.  With the win, the Bullets improved to 4-5-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

     The victory was Gettysburg's second in overtime against conference opposition this season.  The Bullets notched a 1-0 win via the golden goal against Franklin & Marshall on September 15.

     Amy Brewster gave Gettysburg a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute off an assist from Leslie Sloper.  Muhlenberg (6-5, 2-2) answered in the 78th minute when Alissa Desiderio set up Hilary Moses for the tying goal.

     Less than five minutes into the first sudden-death period, Frankford took possession of a Muhlenberg clear and lofted a 35-yard shot over the head of Mule goalie Kim Laurino for the winning score.  The goal was Frankford's second of the season.

     Each team collected 13 shots and four corner kicks on the evening.  Bullet goalie Erin Hayden made four saves to pick up the win.

     Gettysburg returns to action on Saturday, October 2 at the College of New Jersey.  Game time is 5 p.m.
