The Bullets quickly commandeered control of the Green Terror net.  Milliman scored off a pass from Cadman 1:06 into the game to lead off a quarter that would see six Gettysburg goals from six different Bullets.  Twombly scored unassisted at 12:50 with Pearce following him 35 seconds later to push the Gettysburg lead to 3-0.

Western Maryland temporarily halted the Bullet attack, but Gettysburg broke the quarter open when Ross Garretson (New Hope, PA/Germantown Acdmy.) scored at 4:19 and Czerapowicz returned six seconds later off the ensuing faceoff to score his first goal of the season.  The Bullets closed out the quarter with a 6-0 lead when Pollak scored the first of his two goals with 3:26 left in the quarter.

The Bullets opened the second quarter with the first of Bremer's five before the Green Terror could get on the board with goals from Sweeney and Burgos to pull within 7-2.  With 6:38 left to go in the half, Aiello broke through a Green Terror man-up advantage and netted his first collegiate goal to spark a 3-0 Gettysburg run, and end the half with the Bullets leading 10-3.

Western Maryland scored two of the first three goals after halftime to pull within 11-5, but could get no closer the rest of the way.

Gettysburg outshot the Green Terror 44-23 on the afternoon and held a 44-37 advantage in ground balls.
