Ibex pulled the score even at 46-46 with a jumper at 9:24, but Drevna answered with another basket from outside the 3-point arc to spark a nine-point Bullet run.

The Green Terror cut Gettysburg's lead down to eight off a free throw from forward Camey Brian, but the Bullets extended the difference to eleven with another 3-pointer from Drevna, and then to 14 with a 3-pointer from Van Nostrand.

Western Maryland would remain behind by double digits for the rest of the contest.

Gettysburg opened the game when Drevna drained a 3-pointer at 19:47, but Western Maryland sank the next four shots, including three from McPherson to take the 8-3 lead at 17:33.

The Bullets retaliated with a layup from Hodge at 15:41, but the Green Terror took back the relinquished ground with another jumper from McPherson.

Over the next four minutes Gettysburg held the Westminster squad scoreless, while battling back to within 9-10 off a Hodge jumper at 14:02, and another from Bear at 11:29.

Ibex extended the Western Maryland lead to 12-9 with two free throws at 11:06, but Bear knocked down a 3-pointer 30 seconds later to lock the score at 12-12.

With the momentum on their side, the Bullets used the next eight minutes to outscore the Green Terror 20-7 and enter the final two minutes of the first half with a 29-19 lead.

As the half came to a close Ibex and sophomore guard Erin White tried to reel the home team back in with two free apiece, but Van Nostrand kept Gettysburg's 10 point lead intact with four-point play (3-pointer and a foul shot).
