Box Score

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Jenny Line (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) scored the game-winning goal to lift Gettysburg over Franklin & Marshall 1-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Tuesday.

With the wind and rain beating down on the field the entire game, Line netted the game-winner from a Liz Feldhusen (Acton, MA/Acton Boxboro) assist in the 19th minute of the game. The goal was Line's fourth game-winning goal on the season, and her team-leading eighth goal, which have all come in CC play.

The Bullets were able to withstand several Diplomats scoring opportunities in the game. In the second half, Bullets goalkeeper Carine Doyle (Exton, PA/Bishop Shanahan) made saves on shots from Kelly Kennedy and Amy Anton to preserve Gettysburg's 1-0 shutout victory.

In the game, Christina DiTucci (East Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) had six shot to give her 46 on the season, which breaks the freshman record for shots in a season. Amy Mollencamp held the record with 40 in 1993.
