weekends CC tournament when they battle No. 3 John's Hopkins.

& Marshall in the other semi-final match-up. Times to be announced.
It was Line's third two-goal performance of the season and
helped her tie the Gettysburg freshman record for goals in
a season (10), previously held by
Amy Mollencamp in
1991. The Carlisle native also broke the freshman record for
points in a season with 26, also held by Mollencamp.
Line helped Gettysburg tie the score at 3 when she assisted
Christina DiTucci's (East Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy)
second goal of the game in the 62nd minute.
DiTucci gave the Bullets an early 1-0 lead when she scored
off a
Taryn Chomik (Allentown, PA/Allentown Central Catholic)
assist in the 10th minute. It was DiTucci's second two-goal
performance of the season.
Liz Feldhusen (Acton, MA/Acton-Boxboro) gave Gettysburg
a 2-0 lead when she netted the rebound of a
Julia Girman
(Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) shot in the 15th minute.
The Bullet lead did not last long, however, as Dickinson came
back with three unanswered goals.
Ellen Laird knocked
a goal into the left netting off assists from
Amy Montalbano
and
Kristi Cahoon in the 23rd minute. Three minutes
later, Red Devils' leading scorer Alyssa Carlow connected
from 25 yards out off a Laird assist.
Dickinson took a 3-2 advantage when Cahoon scored off helpers
from Montalbano and Carlow in the 37th minute.
After DiTucci knotted the game at 3, the Red Devils regained
the lead when Carlow scored her second goal of the game off
a Cahoon assist in the 65th minute.
Dickinson missed a scoring opportunity with time running out
of the game when Carlow's shot went high on a free kick.
The Bullets outshot the Red Devils 17-10 in the game. Gettysburg
goalkeeper
Carine Doyle (Exton, PA/Bishop Shanahan)
had two saves, while
Lauren Costello had a game-high
six saves.
In the process of wrapping up the regular season on a winning
note, the Bullets tied a program record for goals allowed
in a victory, which was also done in a 5-4 win over Notre
Dame (MD) in 1993.
Gettysburg finishes the regular season 12-5 overall and 9-1
CC play, while Dickinson falls to 11-6-1 on the year and 6-3-1
