GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Clayton Krum (Hellertown, PA/Moravian Academy) scored a goal and added an assist to lead Gettysburg to a 3-0 victory over Swarthmore in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday.

Krum assisted Michael Sarbaugh's (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown) for the second goal of the game in the 67th minute. It was Sarbaugh's fourth goal in the week after recording a hat trick on Thursday.

Krum then scored the final goal of the game from a Will Hohman (Landenberg, PA/St. Mark's [DE]) assist in the 72nd minute.

Chris Borcik (Reisterstown, MD/Franklin) started the Bullet scoring with his first collegiate goal from a David Pone (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown) assist in the sixth minute of the game.

The Garnet did have many scoring opportunities in the game, but Bullet goalkeeper Steve Kopp (Upper Montclair, NJ/Montclair) took the ball of the foot of Marty Griffith in the 53rd minute. Kopp also made a great save by popping the ball over the goal from a Kirk Ellison shot in the 84th minute.

Gettysburg outshot Swarthmore 27-9 in the game. Kopp had five saves, all in the second half, while Nate Shupe had nine stops for the Garnet.

Gettysburg improves to 9-3 on the year and 3-2 in the CC, while Swarthmore falls to 6-7 overall and 1-4 in the conference.

The Bullets return to action Wednesday when they travel to Eastern for a non-conference match-up. Start time is 4 p.m.
