Schultz leads Baldwin-Wallace past Gettysburg, 74-58 in the first round of the Marymount Tournament

ARLINGTON, Va. - Erika Schultz led all scorers with 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead Baldwin-Wallace past Gettysburg 74-58 in the first round of the Marymount Tournament on Saturday.

Holly Koepp added 14 points for the Yellow Jackets in the victory. Also scoring double-digits for Baldwin Wallace were Emily Clark with 12 points and Sarah Gordon with 11 points.

Jay Hodge (Silver Spring, MD/St. Vincent Pallotti) was the Bullets top scorer with 14 points and five rebounds. Dana Bear (Lansdale, PA/Lansdale Catholic) added 11 points, while Steph Drevna (Lancaster, PA/Lancaster Catholic) chipped in 11 points and three assists.

The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 33-26 halftime lead on 46.7 percent shooting, while Gettysburg shot 45.8 percent. In the second half, Baldwin-Wallace continued their hot shooting with 44.4 percent shooting, while holding the Bullets to 29.4 percent from the floor.

The Yellow Jackets improved to 5-5 on the year and advance to the championship game against host Marymount on Sunday at 3:30 p.m., who defeated Rutgers-Camden 74-57 in the other first round match-up.

Gettysburg fell to 6-3 on the year and will battle the Lady Raptors of Rutgers-Camden in the consolation game at 1:30 p.m.
