HAVERFORD, Pa. - Ashley Froman (Glen
Arm, MD/Loch Raven) netted the game-winning goal to
lead Gettysburg past Haverford 1-0 in Centennial Conference
(CC) women's soccer action on Saturday.
Froman, a senior co-captain scored her second
goal of the season and fifth of her career in the 71st minute.
Katie Ferarro (Westminster, CO/St. Mary's Acad.) recorded
her second assist of the season.
Jen Trombridge collected a
game-high five saves for the Fords (10-6-1, 4-3-1 CC).
The two squads battled for 71 minutes before
the Bullets (9-5-2, 5-3 CC) found the twine to end a two-game
losing streak.
Froman knocked in a cross from Ferarro with
18 minutes, 10 seconds remaining in the game.
Gettysburg returns to action on Tuesday when
the Bullets host Dickinson. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
