Conrad went 8-for-8 from the free throw line in the second half as the Blue Jays (7-4) used a 23-4 run across both halves to seal their third straight victory over the Bullets (6-7). Chad Heller chipped in with 15 while Ian Daecher also hit double digits with 10.

David Glaser (West Chester, PA/Malvern Prep) scored 16 of his game-high 18 in the first half to keep Gettysburg within striking distance, going 6-for-9 from the field and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

In a first-half battle of high-scoring centers, English scored five quick points in the opening 2:46 to put Elizabethtown ahead to stay at 7-4 and the Blue Jays pushed the lead to 19-10 on a bucket from Brian Loftus with 11:40 left in the half.

Gettysburg put together a 9-4 burst to pull within 23-19 on a 3-pointer from Todd Brady (Hancock, NH/ConVal) at the 7:28 mark, but English answered by converting a 3-point play on the Blue Jays next trip down the floor, then scoring on a breakaway layup to restore the nine-point lead.

A three from Heller and two free throws by Andrew Flynn increased the advantage to double digits at 35-23, but the Bullets answered with an 8-2 run that Glaser finished with a spinning 3-point play to make it 37-31.

Daecher drilled a jumper to push the lead back to 44-33. Doug Loveland (Oceanport, NJ/Christian Brothers Acad.) flipped in a jump shot at the buzzer to make it 44-35 at the half.

It was all Elizabethtown after halftime. Jim Barron scored on a pull-up jumper 56 seconds in the half, igniting a 18-2 run over the next 6 minutes, 27 seconds that gave the Blue Jays a commanding 62-37 lead with 12:37 remaining.
