Myers scored the first two goals in the contest, including the game-winner with one second left in the first half to help the Bullets (11-4, 7-1 CC) shut out their fifth conference opponent. This is the first time the freshman has performed the two-goal trick.

Katie Ferraro (Westminster, CO/St. Mary's Academy) netted her third goal of the season while Steph Smith (Milford, NY/Cooperstown) tallied her first collegiate assist and point.

Melissa Ruff made a game-high eight saves for the Diplomats (6-6-3, 3-4-1 CC) in the loss.

After blasting off nine shots in the first 44 minutes, the Bullets waited until the last second of the first half to score. With nine seconds remaining, Jenny Line (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) sent a cross in from the left side. Smith took the quick shot, but Ruff deflected the ball back to the six-yard line for Myers to knock home.

Although Gettysburg came out goal hungry in the first half, both teams used a sturdy defense early on in the second half. It wasn't until the Bullets first shot of the second half at the 57:56 mark that Myers would strike again.

Michelle Friedmann (Wyomissing, PA/Wyomissing) recorded her team-leading third assist on the freshman's second goal. Friedmann chipped the ball over a defender and Myers found the twine for a 2-0 lead.

Ferraro added an insurance goal in the 71st minute when her shot hit the top inside-right post and bounced over the goal line.

Franklin & Marshall could only muster two shots on the afternoon. Amanda Zambrano gave the Diplomats their best scoring opportunity in the 75th minute, but Katie Simmons (Altamont, NY/Guilderland) was there to make the save for her seventh shutout.

The Bullets return to action on Saturday at home against Haverford. Game time is 12 p.m.
