Myers netted her team-leading seventh goal and her third game-winner of the season to help the Bullets (12-4, 8-1 CC) capture their eighth conference win and sixth shut out against a CC opponent.

Christina DiTucci (E. Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) collected her second assist of the season while Katie Simmons (Altamont, NY/Guilderland) posted four saves for her eighth shutout in 2003.

Jen Trowbridge made a game-high 12 saves for the Fords (6-11, 3-5 CC).

Gettysburg outshot Haverford 24-4, finding the back of the net in the 51st minute for its 12th victory of the season.

DiTucci crossed the ball from the right-side corner and through the defense. Myers collected the ball and tapped it in for a 1-0 lead at the 50:56 mark.

After a scoreless first half, the Bullets' blasted off 18 shots while the defense held the Fords to only two shots.

Caryn Dolich was looking for the lead just minutes into the second half, but Simmons came away with her shot.

Trowbridge kept Haverford in the game, making two saves when she came out to challenge shots by Myers and Jenny Line (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) in the 49th and 62nd minute, respectively.

The Fords made their final attempt with 2:04 left in the game on their first corner kick of the half, but the Gettysburg defense cleared the ball and held on for the victory.

The Bullets are tied for first place in the CC with Muhlenberg and have secured a spot in the conference tournament in two weeks.

Gettysburg returns to action on Wednesday at home against The College of New Jersey. Game time is 2:30 p.m.
