PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Two kills into the night, junior Nicole Barr (Annapolis, MD/Broadneck) tallied her 1,000th-career kill to become the second player this season, and the 10th in program history, to accomplish the feat. Gettysburg picked up a pair of sweeps in the first day of the Carnegie Mellon Tournament on Friday in volleyball action to run its current winning streak to 22.
