Michelle Mumma scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning tiebreaker to lead the Falcon's to a 2-1win in game two.

After three scoreless innings, Gettysburg (8-4) took a 1-0 lead in the top of the fourth after Michelle Oravis (Gilbertsville, PA/Boyertown) hit an RBI single to left field to knock in Molly Gale (Franklin, MI/Wylie E. Groves).

Messiah's Amanda Robinson then scored the tying run in the bottom of the sixth off an RBI single to left field by Michal Chaffinch. With bases loaded and two outs, the Bullets managed to stop the Falcons when Megan Pilarcik (Middletown, MD/Middletown) connected with Adrienne Simmons (Douglassville, PA/Douglassville) at first to end the inning.

In the bottom of the eighth and Mumma placed on second, Chaffinch hit a sacrifice bunt before Brooke Good reached on a fielder's choice to bring Mumma home for the victory.

The Falcons picked up the first run when Chaffinch hit a home run over the left field fence to start the bottom of the second inning.

Katie Eiden (Silver Spring, MD/Georgetown Visitation [DC]) tied the game after Jackie Pareso (Washington, PA/Canevin Catholic) got walked with bases loaded. With no outs, Stef Mastropaolo (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) reached on a fielder's choice that brought Pabst in to score and take a 2-1 lead that would not relinquish. Pilarcik then ripped an RBI double that allowed Mastropaolo and Pareso to score the final two runs of the third inning for a 4-1 lead.

Robinson added one more when she hit a double to center field and eventually crossed the plate on an RBI single by Chaffinch.

Gettysburg answered back with two more runs in the top of the fourth when Pareso hit a two-out single and allowing Eiden to score, before Pabst made it home on a passed ball.
