Muhlenberg downs Gettysburg, 3-0

Box Score

GETTYSBURG, Pa. –Three different players scored to help Muhlenberg defeat Gettysburg 3-0 in Centennial Conference (CC) men’s soccer action on Saturday.

Jonathan Kliewer put the Mules (6-7-2, 3-3-1 CC) on the board at the 13:26 mark, giving the Muhlenberg offense all it would need to give the Bullets (8-6-1, 4-2-1 CC) their second conference loss this season.

Christopher King put the Mules up 2-0 in the 59th minute, shooting and open shot up the middle from 18-yards out of a pass from Ryan Melchior.

James Henshaw added an insurance goal at the 70:37 mark on a free kick serve from Karim Assous, giving the Mules a 3-0 cushion that they would not relinquish.
