Dusty Crostic opened the inning with a pinch-hit single to third, and advanced to second on a wild pitch. After a David Jenkins strikeout, Josh Boshley drew the one-out walk to put runners at first and second.

Joe Gossweiler (Florham Park, NJ/Hanover Park) came in from left field to relieve Greg Urich (Hummelstown, PA/Lower Dauphin) on the hill. Adam Kuchemba made it two straight bases on balls to load the bases. Daniel then laced a ball into right to score Crostic and Boshley and give Shenandoah the victory.

In the top half of the inning, Gettysburg regain a 5-4 advantage on a two-out single by Gossweiler to the gap in left-center. Brendan McDonald (Bennington, VT/Mt. Anthony Union) opened the frame with a single to left.

Nathan Smith (Milford, NY/Cooperstown) beat out a sacrifice bunt attempt to give the Bullets runners at first and second with nobody gone. In the next at bat, Mike Cipolloni (Riegelsville, PA/Germantown Academy) successfully laid down the sacrifice bunt, and moved the runners up.

After a Ben Carey (Colchester, CT/St. Bernard) strikeout, Gossweiler cleared the bags with his base knock to the outfield.

The Hornets struck early in the contest, getting one run each in the first and third innings for an early 2-0 lead.

In the Bullet fourth, McDonald had an RBI groundout to score Lettieri from third to cut the deficit in half.

Cipolloni and Aaron Ball (Farmingdale, NY/Hills East) opened the top of the fifth with back-to-back singles, and advanced on a wild pitch.

With one out, Gossweiler was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Brian Pernice (Smithtown, NY/Smithtown) reached on a fielder's choice as Cipolloni was forced out at the plate. Lettieri singled to right, allowing Ball and Gossweiler to score and give the Bullets a 3-2 lead.

In the bottom of the sixth, the hosts once again captured the lead. Nick Sborz led off with a double to left field. After back-to-back popouts, Steve Todd reached on an error, allowing Sborz to score from third and tie the game at 3-all.

An RBI single by Scott Disch allowed Todd to score and give Shenandoah the 4-3 edge.
