Gorusch, Pareso and Gale each walked on their trips to the plate in the first inning before scoring the first three runs for Gettysburg. Gorsuch reached home on a wild pitch, while Pareso and Gale rounded the bases on a Mt. St. Vincent error.

Daria Calvecchio hit an RBI single to shortstop, allowing Caitlin Morch to score Mt. St. Vincent’s lone run in the top of the second.

Next time up, Gorsuch scored her second of three runs after being walked and stealing two bases and reaching thanks to Pareso’s pop up over third base for a 4-1 edge.

The final three runs came in the fourth inning. Pareso knocked an RBI double to centerfield to help Gorsuch record her third run of the day, before touching the plate herself off  Margaret Hallahan’s (Huntingdon, PA/Huntingdon) ground ball to left field. Hallahan advanced to second on Gale’s single and was brought home for the last run on Pilarcik’s single to end the scoring and the game.

The Bullets return to action on Friday, facing Rutgers-Newark at 9:30 a.m. and SUNY Oswego at 11:30 a.m.
