COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Chase Stewart (Downingtown, PA/Downingtown) scored four goals and Matt Twombly (New Canaan, CT/New Canaan) added a hat trick to lead sixth-ranked Gettysburg over Ursinus 13-3 in Centennial Conference (CC) men’s lacrosse action on Sunday.

 Jake Van Nostrand (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) dished out four assists for the Bullets (7-3, 3-1 CC), moving into eighth place on the program’s all-time career points list with 190. Van Nostrand, who also snapped a three-way tie for fourth on Gettysburg’s career assists list, needs 10 more points to become the fifth Bullet to reach the 200-point mark.

 Pat Vaughan (Cockeysville, MD/Loyola) made 13 saves for Gettysburg, which improved to 2-0 against the Bears (5-6, 1-4 CC).

 Carlo Fusco scored twice and Matt Orlando made 19 saves for Ursinus, in its second varsity season. Gavin Goane assisted on all three Bear goals

 Twombly added an assist for a season-high four points while Sean McTernan (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Hendrick Hudson) added a goal and two assists for the Bullets.

 Gettysburg returns to action on Wednesday at home against McDaniel. Game time is 4 p.m.
