ST. MARY’S CITY, Md. – Freshman Brad Tabor (Kinnelon, NJ/Kinnelon netted his first and second collegiate goals to put Gettysburg past No. 24 St. Mary’s (Md.) 2-1 in non-conference action Saturday.

In a close game overall, it was Mikael Tigrett who put the Seahawks on the board in the 11^th minute, netting a goal off a pass from Brian Wolcott.

Tabor scored his first goal off an assist from Chris Borcik (Reisterstown, MD/Franklin) in the 32^nd minute to tie the game at one going into halftime.

Tabor tallied his second goal and game-winner off a pass from David Pone (Bordenton, NJ/Bordenton) in the 62^nd minute to put it away for the Bullets.

Both Gettysburg and St. Mary’s fired 15 shots, while the Bullets had a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks over the Seahawks.

In goal, Nick Well-Bundtzen (Williamstown, MA/Mt. Greylock) tallied five saves, while Rick Besore also gathered five saves in the losing effort.

The Bullets return to action on Wednesday when they host York College. Game time is 3:30 p.m.
