HUNTINGDON, Pa. – In its first day of the 2004 season, Gettysburg earned a split at the ASICS Collegiate Invitational hosted by Juniata on Friday. The Bullets (1-1) fell to No. 8 Wittenberg before coming back to sweep Waynesburg.

In the first match of the night, the Tigers (2-0) swept the Bullets (30-14, 30-20, 30-15).

In Gettysburg’s second match of the opening day, the Bullets got a sweep of the Yellow Jackets (0-2), winning 30-25, 30-21, 30-28.

Gettysburg continues play in the ASICS Collegiate Invitational on Saturday. The Bullets take on Frostburg at 1 p.m. and No. 3 Juniata at 3 p.m.
