the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds as part of an inside attack that propelled 
Gettysburg to a 74-47 Centennial Conference (CC) womens basketball victory 
over Washington on Tuesday.Kathryn 
Reilly (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood) posted her first collegiate double-double 
with 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for the Bullets (7-5, 4-2 CC), who 
won their seventh straight meeting against the Shorewomen 
(2-10, 1-5 CC).
Junior Jen 
Bengel (Timonium, MD/Roland Park 
Country Day 
School) poured in a game-high 14 points to 
move her into eighth place on the programs all-time scoring list, leaving 
her 15 shy of 1,000 points for her career.
LaToya Turner led three Washington players in double 
figures with 12 points. Lauren Duckworth 
and Regina Barrett chipped in 
with 10 apiece.
Bengel 
converted a layup with 17:36 to play to give Gettysburg the lead for good at 4-3 and spark 
a 9-3 spurt over the next 2 minutes, 25 seconds to open up a 13-6 edge. Bengel accounted for six of the squads points during 
the stretch.
Turner hit her next 
two shots from the floor and Barrett added a pair of free throws to close the 
gap to 13-12 with 11:00 to play.
With 
the Bullets up two and 8:46 to play in the opening stanza, Ross hit the second 
of two free throws and Bengel made good on a three-point 
play to push the lead back to six.
Emily 
Falk (Boiling Springs, PA/Boiling 
Springs) nailed a pair of 3-pointers in the final 6:36 of the half to 
move her into 20th place all-time on the career scoring chart, helping 
Gettysburg open 
up a 36-25 halftime advantage.
Back-to-back 
baskets from Ross and a Jamie Marshall (Pottsville, 
PA/Nativity B.V.M.) jumper 
pushed the Bullet lead to 15 in the first 1 minute, 37 seconds of the second half.
Turner 
cut the Washington deficit to 16 with 12:39 remaining, but a Bengel 
free throw and a Megan Hartman (Lewistown, PA/Indian Valley) 
layup sparked a 18-9 run over a 6-minute, 20-second 
span to help Gettysburg open its largest lead of the game at 31.
Falk 
hit her only other two points  a fast-break layup  and Hartman poured in all six of her points during 
the stretch.
The Bullets scored 44 
of their 74 points in the paint on the night, tying a season high.
Gettysburg 
also dished out a season-high 23 assists as a team, led by a season-high five 
apiece from Ross and Katie Eiden 
(Silver Springs, MD/Georgetown Visitation). 
Hartman added a career-best four helpers on the night. Eiden 
also chipped in six points in the effort.
Brenda 
Lucas and Turner led the way on the glass for the Shorewomen 
with eight and six rebounds, respectively. Turner also added a game-high five 
steals while Lucas had four assists.
The 
Bullets return to action on Thursday at home against Haverford. Game time is 6 
p.m.
