Reilly also matched a career high with eight rebounds and dished out four assists, helping the Bullets (5-4, 3-2 CC) race to a 30-7 halftime lead in their first action since Dec. 11. Ross scored 10 points and added a game-high 11 rebounds as Gettysburg improved to 12-0 all-time against the Owls (0-10, 0-5 CC).

Junior Jen Bengel (Timonium, MD/Roland Park Country School) also hit double digits with 10 points to move into the Bullets’ all-time scoring top 10.

Deb Charamella scored a game-high 14 points and pulled down eight rebounds for Bryn Mawr. Amy Johnson chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.

Gettysburg never trailed on the evening, jumping to a 13-0 lead in the game’s first 6 minutes, 10 seconds. Jamie Marshall (Pottsville, PA/Nativity B.V.M.) scored all five of her points during the run while Ross added four.

Johnson hit a jumper to put the Owls on the board and Amy Venditta followed with a basket to cut the lead to 13-4. The Bullet defense, however, held Bryn Mawr to one field goal and one free throw over the final 12 minutes of the half while Reilly struck for eight points to help Gettysburg build a 23-point lead at the break.

The Bullets continued to build on their advantage in the game’s final 20 minutes, leading by as many as 37 when Katie Eiden’s (Silver Spring, MD/Georgetown Visitation) jumper made it 53-16 with 8:09 left.

With her 10-point outing, Bengel finished the night with 933 career points, moving past former teammate Jay Hodge (929 from 1999-2003) for 10th place on the team’s all-time scoring list. Bengel needs 67 points to become the eighth 1,000-point scorer in program history.
