the Bullets (4-6-2, 2-2-1 CC), who improved to 7-0 all-time against the Shorewomen,
including four straight shutouts.
Stephanie
Bradley took two of Washington’s three shots and Amanda Frushour

Playing
in a driving rain throughout the night, Gettysburg used a 17-3 shot advantage

Miller put the Bullets on the board in the 23rd minute,
taking a through ball from Ferraro and skipping a shot past a diving Frushour
for the first goal of her collegiate career.
Frushour
made three saves and got help from her left post on a shot by Myers before Gettysburg
scored again in the 62nd minute. This time Myers provided the pass and Ferraro
struck a shot to the middle of the upper netting for a key insurance goal, her
third of the season.
Myers
converted the last of her game-high five shots in the 77th minute to close the
scoring, tying Steph Smith (Hanover, PA/Cooperstown Central [NY])
for the team goal-scoring lead (4) in the process. Miller notched her first collegiate
assist on the play.
Kristin
Short (Massapequa, NY/St. Anthony’s) stopped Sarah Yarbrough
