A pair of free throws by Chris Pombar (Glen Head, NY/North Shore) opened the scoring and Jakobe set the tone with a 3-pointer for a 5-0 lead. Five points from Glaser opened up a 10-2 advantage, but Jon Skvarka scored Dickinson’s next six points to pull the visitors within 12-8.

Gettysburg answered with a 10-3 run, extending its lead to 23-11 midway through the half. Glaser keyed the burst with a 3-point play and Page capped it with a layup.

Glaser’s final two points of the half came on a layup that made it 42-28. Page followed with a jumper to give Gettysburg a 16-point halftime lead.

After shooting 62 percent from the floor in the first half, the Bullets were even better in the final 20 minutes, hitting 18 of 24 shots.

Dickinson scored the first five points of the second half to pull within 11, but Gettysburg left no doubt with an 18-3 run that made it 62-36 with 10:53 remaining. The Bullets built the lead to as much as 37 on a layup by Graham Shaffer-Rais (Portsmouth, NH/Portsmouth) in the final seconds.

Gettysburg is making its fifth CC playoff appearance and fourth in the last five years. The Bullets won conference titles in 2001 and 2002. Gettysburg is 1-0 against Ursinus in the CC playoffs, a semifinal victory in 2001.

Glaser finished with a game-high nine rebounds, coming up one board shy of his fourth double-double of the season.
