Dunklee’s winning time for the 8K was 28:26, two seconds faster than the second-place runner.  Freshman Frank Hoban (Dunmore, PA/Dunmore) finished second for the Bullets and third overall with a time of 28:47. Andy Carmer (Parkton, MD/Dulaney) finished fifth overall and in the third slot for Gettysburg.

Kevin Lawrence (West Caldwell, NJ/ James Caldwell) and Chris Magette (Severna Park, MD/Severna Park) finished eighth and ninth overall, and rounded out the top five finishers for Gettysburg.

On the women’s side, Anna Markowitz (Macungie, PA/Allentown Central) finished 11th overall with a time of 21:29 for the 5K race.  Of the top ten finishers, five were Messiah runners and five Juniata. Other top five finishers for the Bullets were Barbara Creveling (Easton, PA/Easton), Brett Jackson (Arnold, MD/Archbishop Spalding), Laura Rogers (Freemansburg, PA/Liberty) and Christine Burke (Springfield, PA/Springfield).

Gettysburg returns to action this Saturday at the George Washington Invitiational.  Race time for the women is 10:00 a.m., and 10:45 for the men.
