GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Senior middle hitter Caitlyn Barr (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) recorded 11 kills with a .333 hitting percentage to lead Gettysburg to a 3-0 (30-24, 30-18, 30-16) sweep of Washington (Md.) in Centennial Conference action on Saturday afternoon at Bream Gym. Gettysburg finished game one on a 7-3 run and closed out game three on a 12-2 run.

Gettysburg improves its record to 13-8 overall and 4-1 in CC play while Washington drops to 3-16 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

Sophomore outside hitter Meghan McConville (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) hit .429 with seven kills. She also had four blocks in the match. Senior middle hitter Hillary Prutzman (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) led the Bullets with a team-high five blocks.

Two-time reigning CC Player of the Week Amanda Krampf (Gaithersburg, Md./Gaithersburg) recorded 37 assists and three digs, but her streak eight consecutive assist-dig double-doubles was snapped. Senior libero Steph Vial (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) led Gettysburg with 12 digs. She has recorded double-digit digs in 20-of-21 matches this season.

Gettysburg will return to action on Wednesday when the Bullets travel to Muhlenberg. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
