With the win, Gettysburg advances to tomorrow's CC finals, and the Bullets have the chance to win their fifth consecutive CC championship and the CC's berth to the NCAA tournament.

Krissy Browning (Baldwin, MD/Fallston), Ellie Shihadeh (Malvern, PA/Conestoga) and Jennie Howell (Huntington, NY/Huntington) each tallied hat tricks to help lead the Bullets' (17-0) balanced scoring attack. Heather Kelley (Berwyn, PA/Conestoga) made 10 saves and allowed only two goals to pick up her 17th win of the season.

Shihadeh scored on a pass from Jen Betts (Potomac, MD/Academy of the Holy Cross) just 27 seconds into the game. The Bullets proceeded to build a 9-0 lead after 19:46 of play when Alexandra Ewing (Baltimore, MD/Garrison Forest) netted a goal on an assist from Shihadeh. Ewing, Browning and Kelly each scored twice, and CC Player of the Year Katie Ceglarski (Darien, CT/Darien) and Katie Hagan (Media, PA/Cardinal O'Hara) also found the back of the net during the 9-0 game-opening run.

Kaitlin Glenn tallied an unassisted goal to cut the Bullets' lead to 9-1, but Gettysburg got strikes from Howell and Betts before halftime to take an 11-1 lead at the end of the period.

The Bullets scored the first four goals second frame to increase their lead to 15-1 with 18:03 left in the game. Howell bookended the 4-0 run with goals as Kelly and Shihadeh tallied strikes in between.

Stephanie Kaysen tallied a goal for Ursinus (12-6) to cut the lead to 15-2 before Gettysburg got Shihadeh's third strike and a free position goal from Sara Tolner (Pasadena, MD/Severn School). The tally was Tolner's first collegiate goal, and it gave Gettysburg a 17-2 lead with 13:03 remaining.

Ursinus rallied late in the game to score seven goals. The late effort included a hat trick from Natalie Schroeter and two strikes from Debbie Jensen. However, Gettysburg's lead was too much for the Bears to overcome as the game's final score was 19-9.

With the win, Gettysburg advances to Sunday's CC final against second-seeded, No. 8 Franklin & Marshall. The Diplomats defeated third-seeded, No. 14 Dickinson 15-12 in the other semifinal game. The Red Devils jumped out to a 7-1 lead as Tara Goss scored four goals and Katie Austin added two more strikes.

Franklin & Marshall responded by scoring eight unanswered goals to take a 9-7 lead. Both Kelly Cassels and Jen Pritchard scored twice during the 8-0 run. The Diplomats held a 9-8 lead at halftime.

Two quick goals to start the second half gave Dickinson a 10-9 lead as Lizzie Cone and Laura Williams found the back of the net. The teams traded goals before Franklin & Marshall tallied four goals in the span 3:35 as Kiki Foster assisted three consecutive strikes. Foster scored the fourth goal of the run with 6:27 left in the game. The Red Devils scored one more time before the final horn sounded, but the game ended in Franklin & Marshall's favor, 15-12.

Foster ended with three goals and four assists for a game-high seven points. Both Cassels and Pritchard tallied six points with Pritchard finding the net five times.

The Diplomats advance to the CC finals to challenge top-seeded Bullets. Gettysburg and Franklin & Marshall will meet in the CC finals for the fourth consecutive year.
