Katie Heffner (Easton, Pa./Easton) each posted a double-double to lead Gettysburg to a 3-0 (30-21, 30-16, 30-15) sweep of Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference action on Tuesday night at Schwartz Gym. Krampf had 30 assists and 16 digs to lead the team in both categories, and Heffner had a team-high 14 kills to go with 15 digs.
The Bullets (4-5, 1-0 CC) opened the defense of their fifth straight conference crown by playing solid defense, with five players reaching double digits in digs. Junior outside hitter

Steph Vial (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic) each had 15, while junior defensive specialist

Heffner had just two hitting errors in 26 swings against the Owls (4-3, 0-1 CC) to hit .462 for the match. Freshman right side
Stephanie Rickabaugh (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) saw action in one game, recording three kills and no errors on seven attempts to hit .429, and classmate
Kristina Mercier (Baltimore, Md./Mount de Sales Academy) was also errorless with four kills on eight attacks to hit .500.
Gettysburg will be back in action this weekend when the Bullets travel to Danville, Ky., for the Centre Tournament. The team takes on LaGrange and Hanover at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, on Saturday and will wrap up with a 10 a.m. match against Wilmington and a 12:30 p.m. match against Centre on Sunday.
