Brian Sateja (Morristown, N.J./Delbarton School) tied for the game high with 14 points to lead Gettysburg to its fourth straight win, a 68-42 decision against Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Wednesday night at Bream Gymnasium.
For the Bullets (6-9, 4-5 CC), sophomore guard

Joe Spierenburg (Chambersburg, Pa./St. Maria Goretti [Md.]) chipped in with 10 points, three blocks and a season-high five assists. Senior captain
Julius Redd (Gaithersburg, Md./Magruder) pulled down nine rebounds to go with three assists and a pair of blocks.
Dickinson (4-11, 2-7 CC) sophomore center Tom Leszczynski, the third-leading scorer in the conference, overcame a two-point first half to tie for the game high with 14 points. Classmate Cory Kenny added 10.
Gettysburg shot 50 percent (16-of-32) in the first half, while the nation's 16th-best defense held the Red Devils to just 18 points on 7-of-25 (.280) shooting.
Sateja came out of the gates strong, hitting the game's first bucket just under a minute in. He went on to score eight of the first 13 points to give his team an 11-2 lead at the 14:20 mark. Dickinson called a timeout and regrouped with a jumper by Kenny, but Dorsey hit his second 3-pointer of the game to extend the Bullets' opening run to 14-4.
Gettysburg extended the lead to 20 points when sophomore guard
Chris Nevolo (Neshanic Station, N.J./Somerville) converted a steal into a fast-break layup with 31 seconds to play before the intermission. Leszczynski then made his first basket of the game with a jumper at the eight-second mark. That looked like it would be the final play of the opening frame, but Bullets' sophomore
Renato Tambellini (Millville, N.J./Sacred Heart) weaved through traffic and released a buzzer beater from just inside the foul line to make the halftime margin 38-18. Tambellini finished with a season-high seven points.
The Red Devils were able to keep the lead from growing and got as close as 14 points with 12:32 to go. They would reach that mark twice more, the last time coming at 11:21 on a layup by Leszczynski, but the Bullets constructed a 12-0 run over the next 5:11 to push the lead to 26.
Gettysburg will return to action on Saturday when the Bullets travel to Westminster, Md., for the second part of a Centennial Conference double header with the Green Terror. The women's game will tip off at 1 p.m. with the men to follow at 3 p.m.
