Ursinus jumped out to an early lead and barely looked back the rest of the way. After almost 11 and a half minutes of play, the Bears' largest lead was only six. However, as nearly six minutes remained in the first half, Ursinus had run out to a 23-11 advantage. Just two minutes into the second half, Reilly quickly got to the free throw line twice. She connected on 4-of-4 attempts, the first of her 14 second-half points. The closest the Bullets ever got in the second half was 14 points. It came with 14:47 remaining on the clock when Hartman hit 2-of-2 free throws. It was all Bears, however, from there on out. Ursinus went on to take the game, 61-40.
Seniors Reilly and
Hillary Prutzman (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) end their careers as Bullets with the loss. Gettysburg will look to build on a strong season, returning four of five players from the starting line-up next season.
