BRYN MAWR, Pa. – No. 1 Gettysburg bounced back from its first loss of the season with a resounding, 19-1 victory against Bryn Mawr in Centennial Conference (CC) action at Applebee Field on Saturday afternoon. Nine Bullets tallied at least two points, and in all, 14 had either a goal or an assist.
Gettysburg (7-1, 3-0 CC) senior captain
Katie Hagan (Media, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) led all players with four points on a goal and three assists. She is currently on a 10-game point streak dating back to last season. Senior attacker
Alexandra Ewing (Baltimore, Md./Garrison Forest) and junior midfielder
Megan Moore (Chestertown, Md./Gunston Day School) each tallied a hat trick. Ewing has scored at least three goals in four straight games and has a point in all eight games, while Moore's point streak is at 13 games.

Sam Pyzik (Westminster, Md./Mercy) tallied a career-high two goals. Freshman midfielder
Lexie Hearn (Old Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) had a personal-best three points, all on assists, and classmates
Erin Cushing (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton),
Chelsea Peck (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) and
Lauren Woodman (Denver, Colo./Kent) all scored their first career goals. Woodman added to her big day with a pair of assists.
Senior goalie
Susan Meyers (Ridgewood, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) started for the second time this season and made three saves to pick up the win.
The Owls (2-6, 0-2 CC) got their lone goal on an unassisted strike from junior attacker Moriah Scott. Sophomore goalie Stephanie Hilton faced a 44-shot barrage by making 20 saves.
Crane started the scoring less than two minutes in with an assist going to Hearn. Senior attacker
Jen Betts (Potomac, Md./Academy of the Holy Cross) waited just more than six minutes to tally her third game winner of the season.
The Bullets tacked on five more goals in a 3:58 span to take a commanding 7-0 lead with nearly 45 minutes to play. Scott broke up the shutout bid at the 10:52 mark, but Gettysburg would keep Bryn Mawr off the board the rest of the way.
Gettysburg returns to action on Tuesday when the Bullets play host to No. 17 Dickinson at Clark Field. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
