HERSHEY, Pa. – Gettysburg shot a 321 to finish eighth in the 15-team Elizabethtown Spring Blue Jay Classic on Thursday afternoon at the Hershey Country Club. Junior James LeClair (Plainfield, N.H./Kimball Union Academy) carded a 76 for his best round of the spring. He tied for 10th in the 84-player field.

Susquehanna put together a round of 301 to take the team title behind a one-under-par 70 by individual medalist Pat Serfass. Adam O'Brien of York (Pa.) finished two strokes off the pace to place second and help his team to a second-place 305.

Bullet freshman Ned MacPherson (North Marshfield, Mass./St. Mark's School) tied for 19th with a 78. Sophomore Greg Young (Falmouth, Mass./Falmouth) carded an 81 to tie for 32nd, and senior Nicholas Campanile (Tinton Falls, N.J./Monmouth Regional) and freshman Reid Sessa (Garden City, N.Y./Xavier) each had rounds of 86 to tie for 57th.

Gettysburg will be back in action on Monday when the Bullets travel to Lititz, Pa., for the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. The tournament will tee off at 1 p.m.
