PEACH BOTTOM, Pa. – Gettysburg finished 5th at the 2007 Centennial Conference Men's Golf Championships at Pilgrim's Oak Golf Club with a three-day total of 970. Freshman
Ned MacPherson (North Marshfield, Mass./St. Mark's School) was the Bullets' top finisher in 16th place with a three-round score of 239. He followed up Friday's 85 with a team-best 77 on both Saturday and Sunday.
Franklin & Marshall took first place with a 60-over-par 924. The Diplomats shot a 301 in round one, followed by a 307 and a 316 to complete the weekend. They out-shot second place finishers McDaniel and Swarthmore by nine strokes and placed one player among the top five. McDaniel's Zach LaVoie took the individual title with an 11-over 227. He won the tournament by one stroke over Charles Anttonen of Franklin & Marshall.

Ben Boss (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) and
Bradley Allen (Cumberland, Maine/Greely), junior James LeClair (Plainfield, N.H./Kimball Union Academy) and sophomore
Greg Young (Falmouth, Mass./Falmouth) rounded out the Bullets' scoring. Boss fired a 241, while Allen, LeClair and Young carded three-day totals of 243, 248 and 260, respectively.
The weekend concludes Gettysburg's 2007 season.
