Erin Ober (Lutherville, Md./Dulaney) and junior catcher

Sophomore shortstop Jennie Moore and junior first baseman Lindsay Schmidt led Ursinus (30-10) at the plate, each going 1-for-2. The Bears' only other hit came from sophomore center fielder Katie Gallagher.
Both teams threatened in the third and fourth, but it wasn't until the fifth that Gettysburg put two on the board in their half of the inning. Back-to-back singles by Gorsuch and Sagaities followed by a passed ball put runners on second and third with no outs. When Ober sent a deep foul ball to right field, Gorsuch scored easily on the catch for the first run of the game. Miller kept the rally going with an infield single to plate Sagaities, giving the Bullets a 2-0 advantage through five innings of play.
Gettysburg went back to work at the plate in the sixth, putting together the final run of the game on a Sagaities two-out double to left center. She traded places with Gorsuch, who led off the inning with a double of her own down the left field line.
The Bullets earn the CC's automatic berth to the 2007 NCAA Division III tournament, which will begin with the regional round on May 10-14. The field will be announced on Monday.
