GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Lebanon Valley College in a non-conference match Wednesday evening at Clark Field.

On the second shot of the night, Erin McGarvey converted a low shot from the right wing in the fifth minute for what held up as the game-winner for Lebanon Valley (1-3). Emily Bainbridge set up the breakaway goal with a centering pass from the top of the box.

Gettysburg (1-4) appeared to have tied the game in the 16th minute, but a Colleen Stuart (Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe) goal was wiped off due to an offside call.

Senior goalie Danielle St. Pierre (Londonberry, N.H./Trinity) made three saves for Gettysburg while Erika Ely turned aside two shots to earn the shutout for Lebanon Valley.

The Bullets pick up their schedule on Saturday, when they visit Bryn Mawr College at 1 p.m. in their Centennial Conference opener.
