CARLISLE, Pa. – Gettysburg received goals from three different players and the 17th-ranked Bullets clinched their sixth straight conference playoff berth, blanking Dickinson College 3-0 in a big Centennial Conference field hockey game Tuesday afternoon.

Gettysburg (12-5, 7-2 CC) entered the game holding just a one-game lead over Dickinson (9-7, 5-4 CC) in the CC standings. The Bullets can now clinch third place and a first-round bye in the playoffs with a win over Muhlenberg in the team's season finale on Saturday.

The Bullets, who won their fourth game in a row and recorded their second straight shutout, improved to 9-1 on the road this season.

Junior Nina Emala (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) pushed the team's lead to 2-0 when she punched in her fourth goal of the season and her third in the last two games with just 1:38 seconds left in the opening half. Senior Savannah Ruth (New Oxford, Pa./New Oxford) set the final score 3:49 into the second period, posting her 12th goal of the year.

Junior Christina Anderson (Dunkirk, Md./The Calverton School) made five saves and logged her seventh shutout of the season. Amanda West stopped 10 shots for the Red Devils.

The Bullets out-shot Dickinson 19-9.

Gettysburg and Muhlenberg face off on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Shirk Field at Musselman Stadium.
