ORLANDO, Fla. – The Gettysburg College women's lacrosse team ended its spring trip with a pair of victories on Wednesday, March 5, at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. The Bullets, ranked fifth in NCAA Division III, opened with a 14-2 win over Roanoke College and closed the day with a 17-3 victory against Wittenberg University.

Over its four-game trip, Gettysburg (5-0) out-scored its opposition 72-11. Everyone had a hand in the offensive show as 16 different Bullets found the scoring column during the week. On Wednesday, previously undefeated Roanoke (2-1) found out just how potent the Gettysburg offense can be as the Bullets put the running clock into effect in just 22 minutes and cruised to a 14-2 victory. Sophomore Hollis Stahl (Hightstown, N.J./Peddie School) continued her hot streak to start the season by netting a team-high four goals. Senior Katie Ceglarski (Darien, Conn./Darien) had a hand in eight scores, assisting on five and tossing in three of her own, while fellow senior Megan Moore (Chestertown, Md./Gunston Day School) picked up a hat trick.

Sophomore Kristen Krammer (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg) played all 60 minutes in goal for Gettysburg and made 10 saves.

In the day's second contest, the Bullets easily handled Wittenberg (1-1), jumping out to a 10-2 lead at the half. Gettysburg received a balanced scoring effort from its deep bench, led by freshman Heidi Bitter (Darien, Conn./Westminster) and sophomore Lauren Woodman (Denver, Colo./Kent) who each tallied four goals and one assist. One day removed from totaling eight points against Gwynedd-Mercy College, sophomore Grace Concannon (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills) tallied three goals and three assists against the Tigers. Sophomore Lexie Hearn (Old Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich) was productive in all facets of the game, logging two goals, six ground balls, and six caused turnovers.

Freshman Laura McIntyre (Glenmoore, Pa./Coatesville) made three saves and allowed three goals in her second start between the pipes, while fellow first-year Laura Block (Leesburg, Va./Foxcroft School) stopped all three shots she faced in the final 20 minutes.

Gettysburg returns home to Clark Field for its next date, a non-conference match against Rowan University on Saturday, March 8, at 1 p.m.
