Box Score SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Sixth-ranked Gettysburg College dropped in 10-straight goals over a 30-minute stretch and the Bullets remained unbeaten in Centennial Conference play with a 14-3 decision over Swarthmore College on Sunday.
Every player in uniform saw time on the field for Gettysburg (10-1, 4-0 CC), with eight reaching the scoring column. Senior
Amanda Borucki (Westminster, Md./North Carroll) tossed in the game's first goal just 19 seconds into the contest.
After Swarthmore (5-6, 1-3 CC) tied the game, the Bullets picked up three goals, including two by senior
Abby Baigelman (Larchmont, N.Y./Mamaroneck). The Garnet stopped the run temporarily with a score by Taylor Chiang at 12:47.
Just 17 seconds later, sophomore
Katie Landry (Hingham, Mass./Hingham) scored a free-position goal to begin Gettysburg's big offensive run. Landry and Borucki scored goals in the final 15 seconds of the first half to give Gettysburg an 8-2 lead.
The Bullets tacked on the first six goals of the final period, each coming out of the stick of a different player. Freshman
Emily Troy (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) scored her first collegiate goal at 17:35 and sophomore
Maggie McClain (Wexford, Pa./Sewickley Academy) tossed in the team's final score with 12:04 remaining.
Gettysburg's defense was equally good, allowing just four shots and forcing nine turnovers during the team's 10-goal outburst.
The Bullets finished with a 34-13 edge in shots and a 13-5 lead in draw controls.
Landry paced the team with five points on three goals and two assists, while Baigelman and Borucki each posted three goals and one assist. Junior

Katelyn Neillands (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) paced the defensive effort with three ground balls and two caused turnovers. Senior
