THE COACHES
Barry Streeter enters his 38th season at the helm of Gettysburg's football program. Streeter is the longest-tenured active coach in Division III and his 191 wins place him seventh among active coaches. Streeter has led Gettysburg to three Centennial Conference championships (1983-85) and he has twice been named CC Coach of the Year. In 1985, he led the Bullets to the only undefeated regular season in school history (9-0-1) and an appearance in the national semifinals. Streeter is a 1971 graduate of Lebanon Valley and he is a member of the Dutchmen's Hall of Fame.
After seven years as an assistant coach at McDaniel,
Mike Dailey is in his first season at the helm of the program. Dailey served as the Green Terror defensive coordinator for six seasons before switching to the offensive side of the ball in 2015. He coached in the AFL for 19 seasons prior to coming to McDaniel. Dailey coached the Colorado Crush to the AFL championship in 2005.
THE SERIES
Gettysburg and McDaniel meet for the 70th time in a series that started in 1891. The Bullets have won each of the last five contests by an average of 26 points per game against the Green Terror.
LAST MEETING
With the score tied 10-10 late in the second quarter, Gettysburg ran off a 35-0 run on the way to a 45-17 decision in Westminster, Md., last fall.
Kyle Wigley '16 started the streak with a 60-yard run to the end zone in the second period. Gettysburg piled up 381 yards rushing and 552 total yards of offense. Wigley carried the ball 26 times for 184 yards and two touchdowns.
Sam McDermott '16 completed 13-of-18 passes for 171 yards and a pair of scores.
Chris Miller '17 (Manasquan, N.J./Manasquan) led the defense with 10 tackles, while
Brian Calatozzo '16 picked off two passes.
LAST TIME OUT
Susquehanna turned in three scores to start the second half and pull away from Gettysburg for a 55-40 victory last Saturday. The Bullets pulled to 31-20 on a touchdown reception by sophomore
Matt McFadden (Morristown, N.J./Morristown Beard) before halftime, but the River Hawks picked up a field goal in the third quarter and a pair of rushing touchdowns to start the fourth to extend their lead. Junior
Justin Davidov (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining) threw for 275 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 129 yards and two more scores. McFadden finished with 213 all-purpose yards. Sophomore
Jake Skinner (Annapolis, Md./Broadneck) tallied a career-high 16 tackles, while sophomore
Mike McKnight (West Chester, Pa./Bayard Rustin) and junior
Joey DeCristofaro (East Windsor, N.J./Hightstown) each posted 11 stops.
SCOUTING MCDANIEL

Spencer Wiersberg kicked a 43-yard field goal as time expired to hand McDaniel a 30-27 victory over Ursinus and end the Green Terror's 22-game losing streak last Saturday. McDaniel trailed 27-20 before a 10-play drive ended with a pass from junior

Claude Richardson intercepted a pass on the Bears' next possession to set the stage for Wiersberg's game-winning kick. Koester finished with a career-high 314 yards passing, while
Andre Henry Jr. caught six passes for a personal best 93 yards. Richardson added a team-high 12 tackles. Wiersberg's kick was the longest by a McDaniel player in a decade. He was named the Centennial Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.
GETTYSBURG OFFENSE

Danny Thompson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) sidelined with an injury last week, junior
Justin Davidov made the most of his time under center with the eighth-best total of offensive yardage (404) in school history. He was the first Bullet with 200 yards passing and 100 yards rushing since
Kody Smith '13 against Moravian four years ago. Gettysburg is tied for the conference lead with a dozen passing touchdowns and Davidov ranks second with nine. Senior
Jordan Kelso (Cookstown, N.J./Bordentown Regional) enters today's contest needing 87 receiving yards to reach 1,000 in his career.
GETTYSBURG DEFENSE
Sophomore linebacker
Jake Skinner has climbed to sixth in the conference in tackles per game (9.3). Over his last three games, Skinner has posted 36 tackles. After missing most of last season due to injury, sophomore safety
Mike McKnight has posted 49 tackles, two interceptions, and four pass break-ups in his last seven outings.
GETTYSBURG SPECIAL TEAMS
After totaling just 31 all-purpose yards in the first game against Bridgewater, sophomore
Matt McFadden has averaged 178 all-purpose yards over the last three games. McFadden piled up 152 yards on six kickoff returns against Susquehanna, including a season-long 52-yard return to open the game. Freshman
Justin Geisel (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Country Day) is averaging 54.2 yards per kickoff and he is 10-of-12 on extra points.
Lambert Cup 50th Anniversary
The 1966 football team is celebrating the 50th anniversary of winning the Lambert Memorial Cup, which recognized Gettysburg as the top small college team in the East. The Bullets went 7-2 and won the final six games of the year, including a 21-19 decision over Temple University to clinch the Cup. The squad was coached by Eugene Haas '43 and captained by Rod Albright '67, Dick Shirk '67, and Brian Tierney '67. The 1966 football was also recognized as a Team of Distinction by the Hall of Athletic Honor.
