Shannon Keeler (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) posted 10 saves and senior
Caroline Jaeger (Hampton, N.J./North Hunterdon) scored four goals as third-ranked Gettysburg College blew past Haverford College 16-5 Saturday afternoon.
Gettysburg (11-2, 4-1 CC) was slow to start on the offensive side of the field as Haverford (5-7, 1-4 CC) jumped out to a 2-1 advantage. The Bullets' attack started rolling midway through the opening period with Jaeger kick-starting a seven-goal run at 15:30. Junior
Katie Willis (Baltimore, Md./Notre Dame Prep) tossed in all three of her goals in the opening half as Gettysburg took a 5-2 lead at the break.

Courtney Patterson (Whitehouse Station, N.J./Hunterdon Central Regional) pushed the advantage to 8-2 with 21:48 to play.
Keeler helped keep the Fords at bay with six second-half saves. She tallied two stops in the midst of a 4-0 run which propelled the visitors in front 16-4 with three minutes remaining.
Gettysburg led in shots (32-16), ground balls (20-11), and draw controls (13-10).
Keeler added four ground balls and one caused turnover. She moved one victory shy of tying Gettysburg's career mark of 58 held by Kristen Krammer '10 and she is just two saves away from becoming the seventh goalie in program history to reach 400 for her career.
Jaeger tied her personal high for goals and set a new career high with six points, while adding three draw controls and one ground ball. Patterson came up with five draw controls and Willis corralled three draws. Senior

Liza Barr (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) each tallied two goals and one assist.

Elsie Wagner (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga) scooped up four ground balls, while classmate
Cassie Smith (Phoenix, Md./St. Paul's School for Girls) came away with two ground balls, one draw control, and three caused turnovers.
Allie Gibbons led Haverford with three goals. Tatiana Lathion posted nine saves for the Fords.
Gettysburg hosts Dickinson College on Wednesday, April 12, at 4 p.m.
