GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women's basketball team recorded its most lopsided win over Centennial Conference rival Franklin & Marshall College for the second time in four season to cruise past the Diplomats 86-56 on Tuesday night in its home debut.

How It Happened…
- First Quarter: The Bullets maintained a five or more point cushion throughout the opening quarter and grabbed the double-figure lead off a trey by Rice with 22 seconds left. McNamara scored a fast break lay-up as time expired to push the advantage to 22-8 heading into the second quarter.
- Second Quarter: The Orange and Blue continued to dominate on the offensive end as they led by 20 points off a three-pointer from Rice with 4:33 on the clock. A jump shot by sophomore Mackenzie Tinner (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock High School North) and a lay-up by Gehrin in the final 40 seconds lifted the Bullets lead to 26 heading into intermission.
- Third Quarter: Rice netted 11 of her career-high 23 points while seven other Bullets scored in the third quarter. Gettysburg led a quarter high 39 points off a McNamara lay-up with 39 seconds to go.
- Fourth Quarter: Gettysburg tacked on 19 points, shot 54.5 percent (6-of-11), and held the most significant lead at 40 with 6:19 on the clock in the final quarter.

- Gettysburg canned 31-of-58 (53.4 percent) from the floor, 8-of-15 (53.3 percent) from three-point range, and 16-of-23 (69.6 percent) from the free throw line.
- It was the third time this season the Bullets have made 50 percent or more from the field and second time of hitting 50 percent or more from downtown.
- Gettysburg had 14 players reach the scoring column.
- Gehrin needs 51 more points to become the 17th player in program history to reach the 1,000 point milestone.
- Rice registered a new career-high (23 points) for the second game in a row and notched five treys for the second consecutive game.
- F&M shot below 30 percent from the floor, less than 10 percent from the three-point line, and 81.8 percent (18-of-22) from the charity stripe.
- The Diplomats held the slim 40-39 rebounding advantage.

Where the Series Stands Now
Gettysburg now holds a 46-36 advantage in a series that dates back more than four decades. The Bullets carry a 15-game winning streak against the Diplomats dating back to 2012-13. The 30 points advantage in tonight's game is the largest win margin against the Diplomats since the 2016 meeting, where the Bullets dominated by the final score of 76-34.
